Is this you?
You're in the right place if…
- You've had back, hip, knee, or shoulder pain so long it's started to feel normal
- You've done the injections, the rest, the anti-inflammatories — and the pain came back
- Your imaging says "mild degeneration" but nobody explained what that actually means for you
- You're moving differently to protect a painful area, and now other things are starting to hurt
- You want to understand your body, not just manage it
What it is
How we approach Orthopedic Rehab
Orthopedic rehab covers the full spectrum of musculoskeletal pain — from an acute ankle sprain to years of nagging hip pain that has quietly reshaped how you move through life. At Arogya Physical Therapy, we don’t chase symptoms. We look for what’s actually driving them.
Most orthopedic pain follows a pattern: a movement fault, a strength imbalance, or a load that exceeded tissue capacity over time. Abhisha’s evaluation goes deeper than a diagnosis or imaging report. She assesses how you move, where you compensate, and what your tissue is telling her — before selecting the right blend of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education for your situation.
The goal is never indefinite treatment. It’s giving you the understanding and tools to manage your own body with confidence — with a clear trajectory and a defined endpoint from the very first session.
In-clinic and telehealth appointments are available throughout the North Austin Corridor.

Common questions
FAQ
My MRI shows arthritis or disc degeneration — is PT still effective?
Yes, often profoundly so. Imaging findings frequently don't match pain levels. Research consistently shows that targeted physical therapy improves pain and function for degenerative conditions, even when imaging looks concerning.
How is this different from a generic gym program?
The difference is a trained clinical eye. Abhisha identifies the specific movement faults, strength deficits, and tissue restrictions driving your pain — then builds a program targeting exactly those factors.
Do you treat acute injuries or only chronic pain?
Both. Whether your pain started this week or three years ago, a thorough evaluation gives us a clear picture of where you are and what the most effective path forward looks like.
Can I see you via telehealth?
Yes. Telehealth works especially well for movement coaching, exercise instruction, and follow-up visits. Hands-on treatment and initial evaluations are done in-clinic.
