Abhisha Patel, PT, DPT, MS — founder of Arogya Physical Therapy

Meet Your Therapist

I started Arogya Physical Therapy because people deserve more than 10 minutes and a handout.

I'm Abhisha Patel — physical therapist, movement obsessive, and the person who will be with you every step of your recovery. I hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and a Master of Science (MS) in Exercise Science, but the credential that matters most to me is the one I earn with every patient: trust.

Early in my career I worked in large clinics where double- and triple-booking was the norm. Patients would come in, get ten minutes of my attention, and leave with a printed sheet of exercises. I watched people stop making progress — not because physical therapy doesn't work, but because they weren't getting enough of it.

I opened Arogya Physical Therapy to do things differently. Every visit, you get my full, undivided attention for the entire session. I track your progress across every appointment because I'm the only one treating you. I build a plan around your life — your sport, your job, your goals — not a generic protocol.

The name Arogya Physical Therapy comes from a Sanskrit word meaning freedom from disease, and I chose it intentionally. My goal isn't just to reduce your pain; it's to give you back the freedom to move the way you want to move.

The Way We Care

Whole-person. Evidence-based. In motion.

You are more than a diagnosis

A knee isn't just a knee. It belongs to someone with a life, a sport, a commute, a family. I start every evaluation by understanding you — your history, your goals, what you've already tried — before I ever touch a muscle.

Care in motion

I believe healing happens when movement is progressive, intentional, and matched to the right moment in recovery. I don't chase pain away; I restore your relationship with movement — so you can trust your body again.

You lead, I guide

You are the expert on your body. My job is to give you the clinical knowledge and tools to make confident decisions — so that long after our sessions end, you have the skills to stay strong and stay moving.

Rigorous and relational

I apply the best evidence-based techniques — manual therapy, Dry Needling, Myofascial Cupping — within a relationship built on transparency. I explain what I'm doing and why, every session.
